Be Heard

Clearly parishioners are upset about all this and there is a conversation. Join in by both listening and giving your own opinion. I'm trying my best to back up my points with the data. Unfortunately the "other side" seems to be focusing on how I got the data, whether I should be publicly asking for the money to be put back, and whether I should be able to have a day in court. The Rector has signed a sworn affidavit that I am not a member in good standing of Caroline Church. That is distracting from the real issues raised here and simply delays. I'll bet that you have not heard a lot from the "other side" on the heart of the matter: these funds are restricted and can not be used for other purposes.

Please don't hide behind statements like "I don't understand finances," "I don't want to get involved," or "I don't like conflict." It's your church too. Take the time to listen, ask questions, and ask for the data to back up the answers you are given.
